During the fall of 2023 while we were taking bids on our new home in Lake Tapawingo we were told about Framing Specialists in Blue Springs, but really had no one who had actually used or knew a lot about them. In hearing of and learning about them I loved the concept and dropped by their office and talked with Jared McBee, the Operations Manager. I enjoyed the conversation with Jared and sent him a set of blue prints of our “forever home”, not knowing how their bid would come in compared with other lumber and framing crew bids.

We put out bids to five lumber yards and six traditional framing contractors along with Framing Specialists. Within a few weeks we were able to compare combined lumber and framing contractor bids, compared to Framing Specialist bid which included lumber. At the conclusion of our cost comparisons we chose Framing Specialists as their final bid was nearly the best, but the most part was their display of professionalism which won them our build job.

From day one when we signed the contract Jared McBee and the owner of Framing Specialists “Greg Heath” including their entire office staff have bent over backwards to make sure our every need was met. If we had questions of how best to make something work, or if we had changes to the blue prints they provided ideas and solutions.

Since day one when their construction crew first showed up, it has been great. The crew is professional, the truck drivers are nice, the lumber and material is great and at the end of each day they pick up their trash and sweep or scrape the street. Not one time have we found beer or liquor bottles on site and they are extremely nice to both my wife and I to include our neighbors. The neighbors are an important issue since we are building in an established neighborhood. Sam the on-site/area supervisor is great and Luke the lead guy on the crew both bend over backwards to make sure everything is as we would expect and they offer advice and solutions on

questions we may have.

Sherry and I have built, or had built several houses during our lives, we would highly recommend Framing Specialists and their entire team from Greg Heath the owner to every employee to build your next home. Their lumber supplier “Midwest Lumber” has excellent lumber and in fact we have chosen them to be the supplier of all our trim products.
