Greg Heath started working for his father’s framing company in 1980.  He framed for 19 years, until his father retired in 1999.  That’s when he established Framing Specialists, Inc (FSI).  Having learned the business, he was eager to do things differently. 

 

In the first 9 years, FSI grew 460% until the crash of 2008.  The company’s success came from innovative ideas, efficiency, organization, good equipment, and great employees.

 

After the crash, the company moved into other avenues of framing on a smaller scale. In 2018, Greg wanted to get back into framing.  Again, he was eager to do things differently.  This time, he started using components, precut floor systems, wall panels, and roof trusses.  His team changed several things on components to ensure they meshed and installed easily.  From 2018 to today, the company has achieved amazing growth. 

 

Greg says, “Pulling all the pieces together to make them fit is a complicated process.”  After 6 years, he has assembled an excellent team that “knows framing.”

 

Our office staff, lumber yard, design team, manufacturing facility, delivery crew, field supervisors, and framers all have a goal:  to build each customer an outstanding home.
